4. This was supposed to be "ExtraFries," which sounds closer to "Enterprise," but, Jerry, who did the caption overlays, forgot about the change.

This part was one of the sections that we fooled around with, playing it backwards to see what it sounded like (around the time we also were interpreting "God I Hate æEm"), and I interpreted the passage as follows: "Wish every lady had eyes. Straight off my new fruit salad full of syrups and sody carbonides. Mel GibsonÆs eatinÆ his snack. Serve it in the nude, San Franciscan the third announcement my order near you." Unfortunately, the sound was subsequently re-recorded due to degradation, and Jerry substituted the word "beamed" for "sent," and it was never quite the same.
6. In the original draft, this was the com sound from the TNG Star Trek, made vocally. When it came time to do it again, though, I couldnÆt do it right, so eventually we substituted the bosunÆs whistle.
7. This was intended to be the ID number of one of the office workers in \bBrazil,\b but I never got around to checking the movie for reference (the 3950-L in the first draft was a placeholder), so instead I substituted the coordinates for EarthÆs sector from the \bHitchhikerÆs Guide.\b
8. Originally the dialogue went like this:
CAP: "Oh no, not THEM!"
BIG: "Yes, sir."
CAP: "Any difficulties?"
BIG: "Fortunately..." etc.
But it was changed to make Biglips mock the CaptainÆs conspicuous pause, a poke at a certain English dub.
